Content Developer for India

LearnHub is a young, energetic start-up located in Toronto, Canada, strategically partnered with Educomp, India's largest eduction company. Our site, LearnHub.com, is a social learning platform, with a global mandate to change the way people teach and learn online.

We are looking for a creative individual who wants to help our community building efforts by creating compelling web-based content for the Indian market.

This job is perfect for you because:

• You have excellent english writing skills
• You have experience writing content for the web and strong proofreading skills
• You are technically savvy, and know how to use web-based publishing tools
• You enjoy working independently, and need little management
• You enjoy developing creative, educational content and helping others learn
• You have strong research skills and will efficiently and effectively source content

Your responsibilities will include:

• Creating educational content for select LearnHub Communities. Examples include:
• Academic focused
• IIT JEE exam preparation, TOEFL prep, CAT prep, GRE Prep, SAT Prep
• Grade 12 level maths and sciences
• Grade 11 level maths and sciences
• General Knowledge
• History of Bollywood
• Frequently asked questions by Indian students who want to study abroad
• What is the best technology for students (ie. laptop, best phone)
• The place of sports in education
• Top desired careers by Indian Students
• Best places for Indian Students to study abroad and why
• Interacting with users on the site
• Contributing content ideas

Requirements:

• Education: undergraduate degree (any specialization), or student working towards completion
• Experience: usage of various social media sites (ex. Wikipedia, YouTube)
• Excellent fluency in English (written and spoken)
